Dear Khan Thanks for Sharing us with ur Worth a While Idea... Yes that can be possible ... We Should be now building DAM to control the flow and if possible than we can Also go for generating electricity with it...

CONVERTING AN IMMINENT DISASTER INTO A POSSIBLE ENERGY SOURCE

Why cant we use that naturally created water reservoir to generate electricity. If proper steps are taken to contain and control the water spill, government could build a dam over on it, let it be generating electricity for a short while like for 8~10 months, while the water is in required abundance, but this will give us an immense opportunity to produce electricity. The natural height of location, flow speed and quantum of water stored so far is an excellent chance to shift a disaster into an energy generating plant. There are many examples in the world when rushing waters were carefully contained and shifted into channels where average sized low cost generators were installed and huge amount of electricity thus produced.

Most important matter is, that place or potential project is not politicized ... yet.
