Murder of leader in Choti Zirin

DERA GHAZI KHAN: An angry mob burnt alive a banned outfit leader, who murdered a leader and his father while injuring another, after storming the Choti Zirin police station on Thursday.

Hafiz Abdullah, the banned Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) district secretary general, killed local leader Naseem Abbas, injured his father Haji Ghulam Rasool and Matloob Hussain, a Post Office official, with a dagger and firing.

Haji Ghulam Rasool was shifted to the DHQ Hospital. He was referred to the Nishtar Hospital Multan due to his critical condition where he died. After the incident, Hafiz Abdullah courted arrest at the police station.

Later, dozens of protestors gathered at the Traffic Chowk, stormed the police station and dragged him out by tying a rope to his neck and foot. They burnt him alive and refused to hand over his body to the police. The protestors also damaged the police station and two vehicles while the record was also burnt.

Tension gripped the town while a heavy contingent of police was called from other districts to control the situation. Meanwhile, traders observed a complete shutdown in protest against the incident.

Locals told The News that the police seemed helpless in controlling the violence. Commissioner Hassan Iqbal, PRO Ahmad Mubarik and other police officers reached the spot. A heavy contingent of police was called from other districts which sealed the city and no one was allowed to enter or leave the city. The autopsy could not be carried out on the two bodies till the filing of this report. The police said that the case would be registered after the autopsy.

- Is it a political party or a religious party?

- If, it is a religious party, then how it is a religious party and why it is called a religious party? may be again because their leaders and many members have beards or so and they wear Islamic dress ‘Shalwaar Kameez’. Some of them say prayers and most of the country do not.

- Why can’t I comment on their leaders and followers or the whole jamaat? May be I fear be termed as a Kafir when found doing ‘Hazrat ki Shaan main gustakhi’.

- They must have bigger plans like salvation of faith when one eyed monster will appear and rule the earth or may be they see a lot of one eyed monsters walking the earth, today? If that is it, then a madarissa would be a good option to prepare for the Armegedon.

- I can not digest this that why a religious party is needed at all, may be to teach me how to say the prayer or to correct my Quranic pronunciation or help me to select the right Hadith to follow my life. Alas, till now, not even my Imam Masjid in my neighborhood has ever corrected my praying style, never taught me and my fellow namazis small matters of life like to say salam to every one specially to strangers, or how to drink, how to eat specially how much to eat, norms to walk, respect the elders especially other than your parents, don’t stare women as I see daily long bearded people giving a nice good gaze to the passerby women of any age, pushing with elbows every body else to reach the first row in masjid and then rush out to reach home first.

- O yes they challenge USA and Israel daily, but can not do anything against the abominable activities around them or within their jurisdiction.

- May be as a Muslim, or may be not at all for them, but I am still unaware of their kind and pious deeds. The deeds must be very hidden and only Allah must know so no comment on that. But distributing food in earthquake hit areas was a good deed for mankind but not to claim it as a religious deed as ‘Kuffaar’ of USA, China, Canada, European countries did much more than us in our own country. The religious leaders should have visited Chile to distribute food as well or may be he was not given the visa ?

- There must be some huge historical ‘ Islamic activities ‘ performed by such politico-religious parties showing political alliance with who ever shows them a way to parliament like Baal Thakray in India by using orthodox slogans triggering the faith syndrome amongst Hindus, ‘Kill Muslims, freed India… destroy Babri Masjid, build a Mandir’.

- Or killing human beings in the name of shias, deobandi, barailwe, or simply ‘Kaffirs’ would bring same objectives.

- O, their pious confrontation is with Tahreek e Jafria and they have sustained severe casualties. May be it could be termed as collateral damage or eye for an eye or they must be shaheeds and Ghazis, as they have not shed the blood of innocents and are not indicted as murderers of humanity itself or Allah may know that who is Shaheed or Ghazi and the act itself never justifies the claim.

- Making army within the army, state within the state, extremists within the honest and pious fundamentalists, some deeds we must not ignore.

- Why such ‘Tanzeems’ are banned at all ? Some infidels those may be, who term them ‘banned outfits’. They must be given full freedom, political patronage and every government support to kill any infidel they see or hear.

- They have contributed a lot in increasing the literacy rate by opening up madariss where only religious education is given and they bomb those schools where ‘worldly’ education is bestowed. Great, they must have overlooked the simple hadith to seek knowledge even from China. May be shortly they will open up some madrissas in China as well to fulfill the Hadith.

- They must have contributed a lot against corruption in the country, poor deprived of daily bread and water or they are found soothsaying to all to have patience all the time, as you will be rewarded heaven in afterlife only, so stay hungry, today.

- They may be helping PMLN as they think PMLN is the most religious and virtuous political party existing in the nation and helping PMLN would be helping Islam to grow. That’s a smart agenda. Then what about Jamat-e-Islami or Jamiat e Ulema e Islam ? are these poor souls working with Yahood o Nasara ?

- What a game ….
