Maulana Tahir Ashrafi approaches FIA to get LUBP blog banned in Pakistan
Maulana Tahir Ashrafi Deobandi (Head of Deobandi Clerics Council, and an affiliate of banned Deobandi militant group Sipah Sahaba aka ASWJ) has approached Pakistan Government’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in order to get LUBP blog (www.criticalppp.com) banned in Pakistan.

Maulana Ashrafi alleged that LUBP was working on foreign (Iranian, British etc) agenda to incite sectarian violence between Sunni and Shia Muslims.
In this attempt he has received support from two pro-Taliban Deobandi groups, i.e., the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ aka LeJ) and the Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam (JUI).
The Maulana is upset because LUBP published some posts in which his links with banned Deobandi terrorist organizations namely Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ aka Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat ASWJ) and Taliban (aka TTP) were questioned. The Maulana was also criticized by the LUBP blog due to his blatant hate speech against Ahmadis, Shias, Sunni Barelvis etc and xenophobia against the UK, Iran and other countries. http://criticalppp.com/archives/237831

On Twitter, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi announced that he has approached Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA, which reports to Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik) in order to get LUBP blog banned in Pakistan.
We consider such tactics as blatant harassment and attack on free speech and social media of Pakistan. We refuse to be cowed down and declare that we will resist a ban and other forms of harassment through all lawful means.

Maulana Tahir, I reckon u have forgotten that death is not an intimate friend or a fool Muslim to whom you can dodge on, no doubt we all gonna have to face death soon Inshallah, but what you gonna do when you die? watch out because the time is near for all of us. what you have done and what you have been doing for all these years Allah SWT is watching you, dont you ever think that being a Muslim Scholar you will get away with it, but no you will suffer more than a non Muslim will Inshallah!
